Urban afforestation across major metro cities in India, planning plantations on degraded and barren urban land with CSR funding.

The role covered species selection and site inspection, coordination with plantation partners and other stakeholders, and geotagging with post-plantation site review so that survival could actually be checked rather than assumed.

Key outcomes

Developed 20 hectares of barren land into afforested landscape by planting 5,000 native trees at Kalyan, Maharashtra
Coordinated with plantation partners and CSR teams to help them plant 100,000 saplings
